BHADERWAH,APR 06 (KNO) : The BJP today organized a colourful programme at hotel Surya to celebrate the foundation day of the Party.

The celebratory event commenced with the lightening of traditional lamp and garlanding the portrait of founder members of the party by District President BJP Doda Adv Manjeet Razdan along with other senior leaders which included Raj Singh Charak , Ramneek Manhas , Bal Krishan , Raj Singh Kotwal and others .In his address, district president Adv Manjeet Razdan said that a seed that was sown on this day 40 years ago has now blossomed now into a soothing and imposing giant tree with strong and firm roots. He said that our strength lies in party’s cadre and it is their contribution which has enabled the party to take lead over all other political parties and reached at a place where it is now ruling the Centre as well a number of States and thus putting Congress at its lowest ebb.

He said that it is indeed a matter pride that BJP has become the sole party in the world to have largest number of members and in J&K too we have created history by registering 10 lakh members. Today we have more than one lakh members in Kashmir valley only and it is the indicator of the change in the mindset of people who have seen Congress and other parties. He said that what BJP achieved in just 40 years is the result of party’s nation centric and pro-people programmes, policies and ideology.Similar programmes were held at Assar , Marmath , Doda , Bhalessa , Thatri , Charalla and Prem Nagar.(KNO)
